Michelle joined AMBER Partnership in 2023, bringing over 18 years of experience as an Executive Assistant at highly regarded London law firms.

She plays a crucial role in managing statutory filings, handling HMRC correspondence, and ensuring compliance with Companies House regulations, providing seamless administrative support to our clients.

Michelle is also responsible for onboarding new clients and overseeing the firm’s AML compliance, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met efficiently.

Outside of Work

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her partner and two football-loving sons, who keep her busy with their various after school clubs.

She also stays active, enjoys family holidays, and socialising with friends.

Jess is a highly hands‑on and dedicated member of the team, managing all aspects of her client portfolio with care and precision. Her work spans advisory support, accounts preparation, VAT, payroll and personal tax, giving clients a single, reliable point of contact for their day‑to‑day and strategic needs.

Known for her friendly nature and exceptional client service, Jess consistently goes above and beyond. Having experience running her own practice for a number of years she is committed to delivering clear, practical solutions and is always willing to put in the extra effort to ensure her clients feel supported and well looked after.

Outside of Work

Jess is a devoted mum to two children and loves spending time with her family. She enjoys travelling and discovering new places, and keeps active through regular Pilates, helping her stay balanced and energised.

Carly’s background spans all areas of general practice, giving her a strong understanding of the challenges faced by SMEs and enabling her to deliver practical, reliable solutions that keep clients on track and fully compliant.

Outside of Work

Carly is a proud mum to two very sporty children who keep her busy with athletics and football commitments. A lifelong Southend United supporter, she loves cheering them on whenever she can. Family holidays are her favourite way to unwind, and she lives for spending quality time away with her loved ones.

Since 2005, he has worked with two leading local accountancy firms, bringing a wealth of expertise in delivering tailored financial solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Passionate about supporting business owners – especially start-ups – Richard specialises in implementing systems and processes that enhance efficiency and drive profitability. His experience spans industries including construction, mining, sports & leisure, hospitality, media, and financial services.

Richard provides corporate finance advisory services, handling company sales, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and financing solutions. He ensures robust corporate governance, delivering comprehensive financial projections and strategic tax structuring to facilitate smooth and successful transactions.

Whether guiding businesses through tax complexities or optimising financial strategies, Richard provides expert insight and practical solutions that empower clients to succeed.

Debbie brings strong practical experience to the team, supporting clients with general bookkeeping, payroll for our larger clients, and management accounts. Drawing on her background as a financial controller, she plays an important role in helping clients strengthen their internal accounts functions, ensuring processes run smoothly and financial information is accurate and up to date.

Her hands‑on approach and commercial awareness mean she quickly understands how each client operates, allowing her to provide reliable support across day‑to‑day bookkeeping, payroll cycles and management reporting.

Outside of Work

Debbie enjoys spending quality time with her family, relaxing with a nice glass of wine, and travelling whenever she gets the chance.

Denise brings extensive experience from her many years working in practice, supporting a wide range of clients with meticulous and reliable bookkeeping. She specialises in CIS returns, VAT and day‑to‑day bookkeeping, ensuring records are accurate, compliant and always up to date.

Alongside her core portfolio, Denise also supports several of our larger clients with their internal bookkeeping needs — including raising sales invoices, processing supplier payment runs and maintaining smooth financial workflows. Her attention to detail and organised approach make her a trusted and valued part of the team.

Denise is a devoted mum and loves spending quality time with her child. She enjoys gardening as a way to unwind, finding it a relaxing balance to her busy working life.

About Sydney

Sydney has recently joined AMBER Partnership as a trainee accountant and is beginning her journey in the profession. She will be studying towards her AAT qualification, with the long‑term goal of progressing to become a chartered accountant.

Sydney supports our accounts team across a variety of tasks, gaining hands‑on experience while developing her technical knowledge. We are proud to support her training and excited to help her grow into a fully qualified accountant in the years ahead.
